My design approach begins with essential questions: Who is this space intended to serve? How will it shape the way people live, gather, or heal? What does this site — its climate, its history, its community — genuinely require of us? These questions guide every decision, ensuring that users and environment remain central from initial concept through final detail.

This orientation was shaped early in my life. Having grown up in Kathmandu, Nepal, surrounded by the scale of the Himalayas and the intricacy of Newari architecture, I came to understand that architecture can hold both grandeur and cultural memory simultaneously. A desire to experience new places and cultures ultimately led me to Utah, where I completed my Master of Architecture at the University of Utah.

I joined GSBS as a summer intern in 2022 and returned to the firm following graduation. I am currently gaining experience across multiple phases of practice while preparing for my ARE licensing examinations through the AXP program.

I bring current technical proficiency to my process, translating ideas from concept through construction detail while preserving design intent. I approach new tools, teams, and environments with adaptability, recognizing this as essential to a field in continuous evolution.

Several themes consistently define my portfolio: an engagement with nature and landscape as a formative design element rather than a mere backdrop; a commitment to cultural sustainability, wherein architecture preserves and advances a place's identity; a dedication to resilient spaces that foster genuine community connection; and an interest in the high-tech infrastructure systems that enable ambitious architecture to function.

Beyond my project work, I am actively involved with the Forum committee and NOMA Utah, where I engage in leadership, mentorship, and professional networking within the design community.
